Sierra Kusterbeck keeps her hair its natural brown color, but adds highlights in blonde, light brown, and reddish shades. She accessorizes her hair with feathers, beads, randomly placed dread locks, and small braids. Sierra says: “the story on the dreads is our second tour ever was with a band called Oh Sleeper. Their guitarist Shane had dreads and I got him to put some all throughout my hair and we would add trinkets and beads. One day I found this gorgeous feather & stuck it in one of my dreads. Now it’s this huge trend and I’m flattered that so many people have caught onto it.”
Sierra’s hair is generally very messy, especially on tour when showers are hard to come by. She told Self magazine “I’ve learned, don’t try to wear your hair, let your hair wear you. The more you force it, the more it retaliates against you. It isn’t necessary for me to wash my locks every day; letting it get dirty and do its own thing seems to work better.” She uses a dry shampoo to help absorb some of the oil between washes.

Sierra’s blonde ombre hair needs to be added(like how she had it at soundwave and in a bunch of brash videos with no fringe), as well as the black with blue roots

Does anyone know when the three pictures with the aviator sunglasses and gray/white tank top (I think they are all the same day) under the “side braid” section are from? I’d really like to find pictures of that same haircut/color not in a braid to show my hairdresser because I think that’s exactly what I want to do with my hair!

Hello! I’m so greatful for this, I wanted my hair cut and coloured for a while and I always try so many different styles but I find it super hard to maintain. So because of this I have a clearer view of what I want which is a combination of (2008) + (2009).
