Juliet Simms’ Hair
Juliet Simms’ natural hair color is dirty blonde. She has had blonde hair through most of her career and only recently began experimenting with colors.
She bleached her hair to a platinum blonde shade in the beginning of 2011. Her first unnatural color was a blue dip-dyed look that she first tried in May 2011. Throughout the summer on Warped Tour she tried many combinations of temporary color: orange and pink, a pink streak on one side, dip-dyed blue again, and dip-dyed teal.
In the fall of 2011 she dyed her hair brown and added extensions for a Janis Joplin-inspired look. In February 2012 she lightened her hair to a golden, honey blonde shade.
Early in Juliet’s career, she played with colored extensions and even striped “coontail” extensions. During Automatic Loveletter’s stint on the 2008 Warped Tour Juliet has some thin dark extensions, but was mostly known for the shaved side of her head. At times she showed off the undercut by pinning her hair back into a pompadour style. Other times she parted her hair all to one side, either sweeping her long bangs across her face or leaving them on the shaved side. Juliet kept this style through the rest of 2008, after which it seems that she covered the shaved patch with extensions.
