Hayley Williams dyed her hair hot pink at the end of October 2010. This color was seen at the MTV EMAs on November 7th, on Paramore’s UK tour, and in Paramore’s music video for “Playing God,” which was filmed on November 2nd. Hayley’s hair looks orangey and uneven under stage lights, but on the red carpet we see that it is a bright fuchsia.
As always, Hayley’s hair has a lot of choppy layers. She wore her hair in waves at the EMAs as well as in certain scenes of the “Playing God” video and at Paramore’s Nottingham show. Though this is more than we usually see her hair worn wavy, she has still worn her hair straight for most of Paramore’s live shows.

I’m not sure exactly what she used, but check out manic panic, they have a range of all the colours, never used them, for my pink hair i used something else but i cant remember what it was called, but if I find out i will let you know as its a great colour and it stays in for ages!

What I don’t understand is how you guys get lady gaga from the pink hair. When has lady gaga ever had pink hair? Other than the tiny bit of pink in the bad romance video? Haley Williams has always experimented with her hair and style an clearly likes to be different which is what I like about her. She’s getting older as well peoples style changes over time.

Hayley is always changing. And she like that. Is normal experiment new things, and i love this on her. Hot colors are reeeally good on her! And Lady Gaga is just an idol, an inspiration for her, and for many people. They are different persons, don’t forget about that.
Hayley, I love you, but there is really no pressing need for all that eye and lip make-up. In ‘Playing God’, you look gorgeous, and the’s because facially, you’ve gone for the natural look. I know you want to be different, which is awesome and why so many people adore you. But you don’t need to look like a Drag Queen for that. Jus’ sayin’.

this is insane. hayley is a rocker chick and is SUPPOSED to have outlandish looks and do crazy things and she can pull them ALL off because of who she is and how gorgeous she is. pink hair does not mean mature or immature, it means individuality, and being able to try new, different things. i’m not saying i loved the EMAs look, but she is not trying to be like lady gaga; sometimes she may pay homage to her, but the EMAs were simply coincidental. because of lady gaga’s and hayley’s originality, they are bound to do similar things once in a while. as for paramore, just because they happen to have written a slow love song and their lead singer contributed her vocals to a hip hop song, does not mean they have completely changed into something unrecognizable from what they were during AKWIF and riot. remember when it rains? and here we go again? those weren’t particularly fast, or easy to head bang to. try not to think of it as a bad thing that the band has gotten so much recognition; if anything, think of it as expanding the paramore family, and having even more people to talk about how great paramore is.

i think this whole look would have been fine had she gone for a more natural make up look. i love her crazy hair and the pink is great but the big black lines over her eyelids?? …just no.

Rachel, we don’t deny that Hayley has grown (we all grow) but the makeup was pretty unsightly, but seeing it otherwise, I’m not surprised that Hayley has made so many changes ’cause that is precisely what differentiates her from other people.
Her pink hair is cute, but I prefer more pink, and less fuchsia. Also, I love when she has orange hair, but I like pink hair.
She has to know that with pale skin and pink undertones, definetly has to use more warm colors, because those cold tones make her look weird. This applies to the shades of hair and makeup, but in the case of hair, Hayley looks great on the stage because she still has some orange undertones in the bangs.
News flash people: Hayley DID grow up. It’s not like she’s going all lady gaga every day, she dresses different for awards shows like every other person out there. As for the makeup? Yup, it’s different, and it’s meant as STAGE makeup over anything else.

I saw them in Dublin on the 6th Nov and I couldn’t tell that her hair was pink until after the show when I looked at my pictures. Her hair still looks very orange under stage lights.

Personally I think some people just need to grow up and except the fact that Hayley is changing (in a good way!!) and getting older just like everyone else! She can’t stay in the AWKIF, Riot! or The Final Riot! eras forever. She has the right to grow up, change, and experiment with things too.

Have you noticed that Hayley wears the color pink hair much softer in the photos that is straight and looks great except for damage in the length of her hair? And in the EMA’s,magenta dye is too heavy? If she let it fade just a bit of magenta dye of her hair, the pink color will be spectacular in it, perhaps with a little of peach color in the bangs.

At First I Hated The Pink Hair, But Now It’s Really Growing On Me. I Quite Like It Now And I Like How She Styled It For The EMA’s, But I Really Didn’t Like Her Eye Make-up At The EMA’s. I Thought It Just Wasn’t Hayley At All…And I Know Hayley’s One For A Bit Of Shock Factor Now And Again But This Was Like She Was Trying Wayyyyy To Hard. As For The Outfit She Wore, I Liked The Top, The Black Version Of The White Top She Designed And Wore To The VMA’s. On The Other Hand, I Wasn’t A Fan Of The Big Boots Or The Trousers.

I think the makeup washes out with her skin-tone. The pink still isn’t doing it for me and I wish her bangs weren’t short because it doesn’t flatter her face well. I love Hayley, but maybe she should chill and let her hair relax and get healthy and come back with a better color and cut that flatters her next time. But hey its her hair so whatever.
