Hayley Williams Crimped Hair

In Paramore’s summer 2011 “Monster” music video, lead singer Hayley Williams wears her hair in an 80′s-inspired crimped style. Her hair is teased and voluminous during the performance scene. In the hospital room scene it is straighter and flatter — it looks as if her hair was crimped and then flat ironed.
Hayley also wore a crimped style for three events in September 2011: Rachel Antonoff’s fashion show, a performance on stage with Taylor Swift, and Paramore’s photoshoot for the January 2012 issue of Alternative Press.
Getting this look requires a crimping iron, which looks like a straightening iron but has zig-zagged plates.

I frickin’ love it. I crimped my hair recently and it doesn’t look nearly as good. Why must she be so perfect?
